1. Professional Statement
My name is Minnette Adderly, I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed to provide high-quality psychiatric care to individuals, couples, and
families. With over 20 years of healthcare experience—including 10 combined years in inpatient psychiatric stabilization, crisis services, and dual-diagnosis treatment—I bring strong clinical expertise and a deep commitment to the clients I serve.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, women’s mental health, postpartum concerns, relationship stress, and overall emotional wellness. I also have experience in community mental health and holistic approaches that support long-term well-being.
At the core of my practice is a client-centered, nonjudgmental environment where individuals
feel safe, supported, and empowered. My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment, with the goal of helping clients improve functioning, build resilience, and move toward greater balance and fulfillment in their lives.
2. What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach. My style is direct yet
compassionate, and I prioritize making clients feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My care integrates psychiatric medication management with lifestyle strategies, brief psychotherapy, and, when appropriate, nutrition- and vitamin-based approaches.
New clients should know that I value shared decision-making and provide a supportive space to explore concerns at your own pace while receiving guidance grounded in compassion.
3. What is your typical process for working with clients?
During the first session, I complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation to understand your
symptoms, history, strengths, and goals. Together, we identify potential triggers or environmental factors contributing to your current challenges.
We collaborate on a personalized treatment plan that may include psychiatric medication
management, brief psychotherapy, holistic strategies, and wellness-focused recommendations.
Follow-up sessions are structured yet flexible—centered on monitoring progress, adjusting
treatment as needed, and supporting long-term emotional well-being. My goal is to help you
build insight, relieve distressing symptoms, and move toward sustainable mental wellness.
